    Elevated security Information

    Visiting our campus

Our top priority at Navy Point Elementary is safety. In order to help ensure the safety of our campus we ask that all visitors come prepared to check in using a state issued ID card or driver's license. Your first stop will always be our front office during school hours. Once you are cleared, you will be given a badge that should be worn during your time on campus. Please remember to sign out with the front office prior to leaving campus.

Thank you for your support to keep our campus safe:-)

    AdDress and phone number change

If your address or phone has changed, please contact the school at 850-453-7415 to update the information. It is imperative that your address is updated to ensure that your student is routed for a bus on the first day of school. Having a correct phone number on record will keep you in the loop as we move closer to the start of another school year.

    WEAR 3 News Coverage

WEAR is visiting with Courtney Watts, a first year, fourth grade teacher at Navy Point Elementary School today. “I want to make the biggest difference I can.” She brings experience working with children with autism. Her room is simply decorated in earth tones in a goal to create a comfortable home away from home for herself and her students. When asked about decorating decisions she explained to Jennifer Munoz that are so many choices for teachers. She wanted comfort so the students will feel safe and confident, welcomed and safe. “I am ready to get started!”

WEAR’s next stop was the classroom of Pam Mayo, a veteran teacher at Navy Point Elementary. She will be teaching math and science to third graders this year. She expects this to be her last orientation and her last first day of school. Looking back at her start, there was a lot she learned in college and a lot she learned in the classroom and from mentors. Asked about Orientation — You are nervous but you don’t want your students and their parents to know that. You want everything to go perfectly and you learn that it won’t and that’s okay. Now, she doesn’t get nervous, she gets excited! She also knows that her room will be a home away from home and you can quickly see that this is a room to learn about numbers in.

Thank you WEAR 3 for visiting Navy Point Elementary during orientation:-)
